TEACHING
I have enjoyed teaching creative writing workshops, and recently completed a
rewarding stint at the Adelaide City Library. Working one-on-one with writers
has also been a pleasure; their projects have been varied and interesting,
everything from travel writing and family memoir to short stories and novels,
and I very much look forward to hearing good news of the outcomes.
Unfortunately, I am unable to take on any new teaching commitments or private
mentorships while I settle into my residency at the J.M. Coetzee Centre
for Creative Practice. I will be using the time to finish the first draft of a
new novel. But you are welcome to try a creative writing exercise, or ponder
one of the rules for good writing from famous authors in the
Lucky Dip.
